Orange Gets The Apple iPhone

As expected Apple’s iPhone exclusive deal with O2 is to come to an end, reports guardian.co.uk. Orange announced yesterday that it was to start selling Apple iPhones later in the year.

Orange said they would sell the iPhone in shops, the Orange webshop and through Orange telesales channels along with certain high street partners. There have been no details about prices or dates when the iPhone will be available through Orange.

However, the deal with Apple has proved successful for O2 which has gathered over 1 million iPhone subscribers.

The Times Online suggests that other phone companies will soon be announcing similar deals with Apple to enable them to also supply the smartphone.
