Alan Weckel, director at Dell’Oro Group commented that while many customers have delayed their spending on unified communications, it’s the turnaround in the purchase rate of IP equipment that has been identified, he continued by stating that for the short term, it would seem that many customers are extending the life of their PBXs with software upgrades in a bid to reduce budget outflows.
