Green Investment Could Create Jobs
Eviee.co.uk reports that Friends of the Earth have said that if the government offered further investment to the renewable energy sector then more green jobs could be created. They believe that if there was more focus on green technology and energy efficiency then not only would it benefit the environment but it would also improve employment prospects.
Friends of the Earth say that there is a long way to go to cut UK carbon emissions and that there was a long way to go if the UK was to a leader in the green energy sector.
