Former Northern Rock Chief Gets New Finance Job
Adam Applegarth, who managed to lead Northern Rock to the point of collapse, is making a comeback, reports Sky News. He’s managed to secure a job in America with a private equity firm, Apollo Management.
He left Northern Rock with a £760,000 pay off nearly two years ago and since then he’s kept a low profile. As he’s only an adviser for the equity firm he doesn’t have to approved by the Financial Services Authority.
