How Do I Change Supplier
Once you have been through the quoting process the next thing to do is choose a quote and then sign-up with the supplier. This can be done in two ways.
If you are dealing with a Utility Exchange Sales Agent then you should inform him/her that you wish to go ahead with the chosen quote and then you will be taken through a verbal contract. Once this is complete the process of changing to your chosen supplier will begin.
If you are using an online calculator you will be given the option of ‘Sign-Up Online’. If you select this option you will be guided through half a dozen questions in order to gather the required information to process your order. Once this has been done your order will be processed with your chosen suppler.
What Information Do You Need From Me, and Why?
In order to deliver a quote to you we need a few basic pieces of information. We need your contact details in order to get a quote back to you. This includes your name, company name, telephone number and email address. In addition to this we need your address in order to both confirm we are looking at the right company (as there could be many companies trading with the same name) and to confirm the details of any fixed services within your premises eg. Electricity or gas Meter or any fixed telecom lines from BT. With this information gathered we can accurately provide a quote for you safe in the knowledge that the prices we are offering are a true fit to your business and your business premises.

What Is A Half Hourly Supply?
Half Hourly supplies are in place with high users of electricity. Identifiable by the first 2 digits of your MPAN, if you see ‘00’ you have got a half hourly meter and we will need to manage this quote request manually as we have to gather information from your existing supplier and then get quotes based on this information. The process of gaining a quote may take slightly longer but the end result will be the same, and as you use much more electricity any % saving we make for you will result in a large financial saving each month.
How Long Will It Take To Switch Supplier?
The process of changing suppliers normally takes 4 – 6 weeks. During this process there could be an objection from your existing supplier or a few questions from your new supplier. If anything comes up during this process we will be informed and we will come and let you know the situation so your expectations can be managed accordingly.
