Privately-owned telecommunications company Chess, which was recently named in the Sunday Times as one of the UK’s Top 100 Best Small Companies to work for in 2010, has signed an agreement with IT company ItsGenie who will provide Chess with its online people-management software.
ItsGenie, which is based in Manchester, specialises in online programmes which have been designed to align employees’ personal goals with their organisation’s objectives. And Chess, based in Alderley Edge, has chosen ItsGenie for its ability to flag-up learning needs and talent management requirements.
Andy Green, head of people performance at Chess stated:
“The breadth of the ItsGenie offering combined with its flexibility and ease of use convinced me that it would be an integral part of continuing to improve performance… By directly linking our goals to how we develop and engage our employees, the ItsGenie technology platform will play a pivotal part in bringing all of this together and underpin Chess’ future successes”
