Opus Energy, the UK’s biggest independent business energy supplier has expanded its industry portfolio to offer a new gas service to small and medium (SME) businesses – This new Opus gas service will provide customers with a clear alternative to existing market suppliers and will include many of the popular benefits already available with Opus’ electricity products.
Customers are being offered competitively priced, fixed-term contracts with protection from gas market price fluctuations furthermore existing electricity customers can continue to receive the same high standard of customer care with the benefit of having just one energy supplier.
Opus Energy currently supplies electricity to more than 60,000 sites across the UK and have entered into the gas market successfully – the first supply went live in the middle of October 2009, and since then sales have exceeded expectations, with 1,000 customers already.
With its flexibility to buy gas from a number of market sources, Opus Energy responds quickly to market price changes, and will pass these savings directly onto customers.
